Statistician (UCM) and PADE (IESE), he began his professional career in computer programming and IT consulting (CORITEL, CENTRISA, SOPRA GROUP).
He was also Business Development Director (European Software Institute), as well as Managing Director and Co-Owner of ESI Process Consulting.
He currently works at TECNALIA, a leading technological research and development center in Europe.
