The global context in which the issues to be addressed are framed in training is the need to decarbonize the economy. The CAE system arises from the need to generate new energy savings through the realization of energy efficiency projects and, thus, that Spain complies with the obligations acquired with the EU through the Energy Efficiency Directive. In addition, it was born with the spirit of facilitating investment in energy efficiency technologies, promoting a market in this sector.
