Critical Health and Welfare Parameters in Building and Urban Environment and the Fit 55, the Passport Materials…

Tue 19 Mar | 13:20 - 14:00

Critical health and well-being parameters in building and urban environment are fundamental to create habitable and sustainable spaces. Key factors include: Interior air quality: Control of contaminants and adequate ventilation to prevent respiratory problems. Natural and artificial lighting: Design that maximizes natural light and efficient lighting systems to promote visual and mental well-being. Acoustic design: Reduction of ambient noise and application of techniques for a quiet environment. Energy and efficiency: Design and technologies that reduce energy consumption and contribute to a more sustainable environment. Green spaces and recreation: Access to parks and green areas to promote physical activity and relaxation. Inclusive design: Accessibility for all people, considering special needs and functional diversity. Sustainable urban planning: Promotion of sustainable mobility, with efficient public transport and options for walking or riding. Waste Management: Recycling systems and procedure waste management to reduce environmental impacts. Bioclimatic design: Use of natural characteristics of the environment to optimize the thermal efficiency of buildings. Housing conditions: access to drinking water, basic sanitation and safe homes to guarantee the living conditions. Do we consider these parameters in urban design and planning currently? Are we contributing to the creation of environments that promote the health and well-being of its inhabitants with the projects we are doing?
