Cases of study on large -scale urban energy regeneration

Large-scale urban energy regeneration implies the renewal and improvement of existing infrastructure and buildings in a city to achieve greater energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. There are outstanding cases that have been treated in Rebuild as the Hafurg Hafurg project, the Poblenou Superilla in Barcelona or the Energy Efficiency Project in Social Housing in London. This session will deepen the diversity of approaches and strategies used in large-scale urban energy regeneration, showing how different neighborhoods in Spain address the challenges of sustainability and energy efficiency in the urban environment.
