Graduated in Architecture (FAUP, Porto), Master in Genetic Architecture (ESARQ-UIC, Barcelona) and PhD in Architecture (IST-UL, Lisbon). He was Special Student at MIT and Visiting Scholar at UPenn (USA). He is currently Professor at FAUP where he coordinates the Digital Fabrication Lab. He is a member of the High-Level Roundtable of the New European Bauhaus.
