After achieving international recognition together with Enric Miralles with projects such as the Igualada Cemetery, Carme Pinós founded her own studio in 1991. Her projects include the Massana School and the Caixaforum in Zaragoza. She has received awards such as the Creu de Sant Jordi and the Richard J. Neutra Medal for Professional Excellence.
