Housing promotion to improve physical, mental and social health
What if housing promotion were also a health policy? This round table analyses how healthy architecture can be realistically and scalably integrated into housing development, from the developer’s perspective. The economic, technical and managerial challenges involved in this approach will be addressed, with an emphasis on feasibility rather than theoretical discourse. Based on real experiences in social housing, cooperatives and private development, good practices and key learnings will be shared. A space for debate to reflect on how far bioconstruction can go today, what barriers exist and what real opportunities are opening up in the current context.
