ETIM | ETIM Spain and ETIM International explain how to connect manufacturing and BIM through ETIM standards

ETIM Spain is the official local delegation of the ETIM International organization. We will briefly explain its structure and services, and introduce the ETIM International representative expert in BIM. Currently, there is a significant communication gap between the product manufacturing supply chain and the digital construction sector. This session explores how ETIM standards for data and product geometry are a strategic choice that facilitates seamless communication between distribution, purchasing, and design. Attendees will learn how adopting a standardized semantic and geometric framework allows data to flow seamlessly from the manufacturer to the point of sale and from BIM projects to purchasing.
