The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with an expiry date of 2030, are the global goals to eradicate poverty, fight inequality and injustice and curb climate change, among others. These goals were approved on 25 September 2015 by the United Nations General Assembly as part of a new sustainable development agenda.

The new 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development will mark the global action for its development until the end of the decade, and together with the rest of the global agendas will configure the roadmap for action to achieve the common goal: Sustainable Global Development.
