From Ecology: Energy and ventilation for a new home

Wed 22 Sep | 13:00 - 14:00

During the congress, sessions are dedicated to housing and office buildings, including hospital complexes and the retail sector. But we could not fail to dedicate a vertical of sessions to analyse the most active sectors at the moment within the architectural sector. Two building typologies mark the function of most of the projects that the major architectural firms have on their desks: hotels and shopping centres. And both have radicalised their urban and architectural message. The aim of this session is to disseminate best practices and lessons learned by experts through their most interesting projects.

Decarbonisation is a new concept that we will be hearing more and more about in the coming years. Some major companies have already internalised it as one of their missions.

Renovations that generate a new ecosystem that is much more naturalised and a container of CO2 rather than a CO2 emitter will change architectural and construction concepts completely.

With a first debate of this kind in Spain, different visions of what Energy Efficiency and Grey Energy will mean from now on will be offered. In the face of new scenarios such as ECCN, the acronym for Nearly Zero Energy Consumption Buildings, or the SDGs, the Sustainable Development Goals, the results of different reports on the level of CO2 emissions in our country and the world should be seen as new indicators for the future.
