Industrialization Forum by Red de Clústeres de la ConstrucciónPartial payment models in the factory, incentives and public support for industrialized projects: towards a factory-validated certification method Industrialized housing is emerging as “the”” fundamental solution to the housing crisis due to its ability to reduce delivery times by up to 60%, guaranteeing controlled costs, high energy efficiency and higher quality when carried out in factory environments. This technology offers speed and sustainability, allowing a rapid response to homelessness. Unlike traditional construction, industrialized construction allows factory production in parallel to the foundation of the land, reducing delivery time and minimizing unforeseen events. As it is an automated and standardized process, materials are optimized and waste is reduced, helping to ensure lower costs and a better return on investment. Controlled production environments ensure greater accuracy, increased occupational safety and lower environmental impact. In addition, many of these homes are highly sustainable and energy efficient. Industrialized production allows for a large-scale response, being a key tool for affordable housing while being a flexible solution that can be customized, offering designs tailored to specific needs without incurring higher costs.
