Peris + Toral. Ways of living

Peris +Toral Arquitectes, from their Barcelona office, feed back their practice with continuous research in the fields of collective public housing and urban space, under a line of thought that places the individual at the center of the action and the architect as a social agent. Marta Peris and José Toral suggest scenarios in which the user takes over the role of inhabiting and aspires to rethink the standards of the programs to respond to the forms of inhabiting that society needs at this time, giving rise to magnificent projects… Only in 2022, they have won the PREMIO ARQUITECTURA ESPAÑOLA CSCAE for their 85 Social Housing in Cornellà, have been finalists of the MIES VAN DER ROHE Award 2022, have won the Eduwik Architecture Excellence Awards 2022, the Best Multi-family Housing of the Year FUTURE HOUSE AWARDS, the Honor Award WOOD DESIGN & BUILDING Award, the EGURTEK Edificación Award, have obtained a mention in the HISPALYT Architecture Awards and have been selected for the FAD Architecture Awards.
