How to increase production capacities versus the creation of factories
Increasing production capacities in the industrialization of buildings (offsite construction or prefabrication) requires a comprehensive approach that combines advanced technology, process optimization and human capital management. As a factory environment, advanced manufacturing principles are key to increasing volume, speed, and quality. Implementing Lean Manufacturing: and applying philosophies such as Lean Construction to eliminate waste (time, material, unnecessary movements) and optimize the workflow in the factory, are a step prior to Automation and Robotics, which is currently a step by incorporating robotic arms for welding, precise cutting of materials and handling heavy loads, which reduces dependence on intensive labor and increases speed. Using 3D, 4D and 5D BIM models to integrate design with manufacturing (DfMA) ensures that elements fit together perfectly and reduce errors on the production line, and adds to the implementation of production management software to monitor productivity, materials and assembly progress in real time. Any other suggestions?
