Have we ever wondered where our data is stored on the network? Do we know if the Cloud is a cloud in the sky or a space on Earth? This question may have crossed our minds at some point, and we may even have thought that such a large amount of data could only be stored in a place with many, many, many hard disks. A DPC or Data Processing Center is a room of considerable size where the resources necessary for the processing of all the information of an organization are concentrated. Within an organization, the DPC fulfills various functions such as the operation of application systems. They are also the basis of Cloud Computing since DPCs make it possible for the “cloud” to actually exist somewhere. Another use we can make of a DPC is the consultation from any computer of an organization of the data of the same organization. But the interest in REBUILD when talking about data centers is that they have become a building typology in their maximum splendor and in this session we are going to discover why.
